Welcome to the website of the LSV Ruhr-Lenne Iserlohn e.V.

The club LSV Ruhr-Lenne Iserlohn is a member of the regional association North Rhine-Westphalia of the Deutscher Aero Club.

The approximately 100 members of the club practice gliding and motor gliding as soon as engine powered and ultralight flying on the airfield Rheinermark between Iserlohn and Schwerte (Directions), at the Sauerland's northern edge with its manifold possibilities especially for gliding. The well-equiped club house with sleeping rooms, canteen and club rooms is the ideal basis for a brisk cummunal life.

 

Gliding is a popular as well as a professional sport, and the airfield Rheinermark is accepted as officiell "regional intensive training center for gliding". Many successful pilots - the most famous one is probably the gliding world champion Bruno Gantenbrink - did there first flying trials here.
Every year, pilots of the LSV are successful on central and decentral (OLC), national and international competitions and championships.
